NORTHERN MINERALS CO. LLC, Sultanate of Oman based company established in the year 2007. Company engaged in mining and mineral processing activities and aimed to fulfil the needs of customers within Oman and GCC countries. NMC is now emerged as a major manufacturer and supplier of various products like limestone grade, marble grade & allied products, Chrome etc globally.
Later on, the company spread its wings to diversify to industrial supplies as well. INDUSTRIAL MINERALS CO. LLC, a subsidiary of NMC established in the year 2009 and engaged in manufacturing of Calcium Carbonate. IMC Factory is situated in Sohar Industrial Area, with near proximity to Sohar Container port and airport.
Our Products
Sultanate of Oman is blessed with enormous amount of superior quality mineral resources viz. Limestone, Marble, Dolomite, Gypsum, Silica Quartz, Chrome, Manganese, Copper, Gold, Silver and much more.
High purity Limestone Products are used for Metallurgical Process, Production of Quick Lime and Hydrated Lime, Glass Manufacturing, Desalination and Water Treatment, Production of ground and precipitated Calcium Carbonate, Animal and Poultry Feeds, Construction Industry, Asphalt Mixes & Industrial Fillers. Marble chips and powder are used in construction industry and to produce ground calcium carbonate.
Calcium Carbonate products are used for Paint Industry, Construction Bituminous and Waterproofing Membrane, Fillers & Extenders Plastic & P.V.C & Oil Drilling.

NMC has already established business relationship with over 30 major Companies who are the end users of Limestone Products.

Chrome Ore extracted from NMC’s quarry are mainly exported to China and India for use in the production of Ferro-chrome, alloy and stainless steel.

Calcium Carbonate
IMC has an exhaustive assortment of products under calcium carbonate product portfolio, from the popular brand “NORMIN IM”. Product ranges from 2 micron to 250 micron (μm) based on its particle size. We supply Calcium Carbonate as its bare form as uncoated calcium carbonate and also with its treated category as stearic acid coated or treated calcium carbonate.
Chrome
NMC is also engaged in mining and processing of Chrome.It has a full-fledged facility in Samail-Sultanate of Oman.Chrome-Ore extracted from Quarry is mainly exporting to China and India
